Jeries with Others at the Women's Dormitory, Kafr Yasif, the Early 1900s
Found in the Nimr Murqus Collection, this group photograph of Jeries "handwritten No. 1", Suliman Bolous "No. 2", Khoury Jeries "No. 3" and others in the early 1900s at the Women's Dormitory which is a place of residency that was built by the English delegate for evangelization since its arrival to the village of Kafr Yasif. Furthermore, the building was built for women and foreigners and was known as the "Women's Dormitory" which opened many opportunities for the people of the village. Moreover, Muqrus's grandfather provided the rocks used for this major project of his time.
