Suliman Bolous's Funeral and an Overview of the Village in the Early 1960s, Kafr Yasif, 1926
Found in the Nimr Murqus Collection, these photographs were stuck onto a cardboard poster. On one side, a photograph of a working woman taken in the early 1960s shows some houses, trees and agricultural lands. On the opposite side is a photograph of Suliman Bolous's funeral which shows a group of British Army soldiers on their horses and a group of people in their traditional dress which is the hatta, agal and trousers. Another group of people are shown wearing suits and a group of children and a few prickly pear trees are shown on the left of the photograph.
