"Haraj, Oh Head and Members of the Council", a Clipping
Found in the Nimr Murqus Collection, this archival item shows a clipping titled "Haraj (Public Souq/Market), Oh Head and Members of the Council", which included some details about the financial situation of the local council in Kafr Yasif during the term of Nimr Murqus’ presidency, about the town’s weekly market that was held on Thursdays, and about the good turnout for it, which is a source of income for the council’s fund, and that with the increase in the “Bastat” in it and its expansion, the fees increase and therefore rise entered the board.
