"Communism and the Alliance", a Lecture by Nimr Murqus

Tilted "Communism and the Alliance",  this lecture is by Nimr Murqus, where he mentioned what is required to achieve the communists’ farthest and lofty goal, including the awareness of the majority that capitalism is suffering, and convincing them that they can achieve this main goal, and the unity of the damaged majority when launching the decisive battle, then he mentioned that this majority consists of the working class, farmers, the intellectual petty bourgeoisie workers and small employers who are crushed by monopoly capitalism, resentful of environmental destruction, and students of peace and stability, as communism seeks to unite the victims of the capitalist system, without the maturity of these victims and bringing them to unity, and convincing them that there is no way to achieve their aspirations for equality, justice and tranquility except by eliminating the the capitalist system, and its conviction that it can achieve this, cannot bring about this change in society, and their access to this conviction is through the awareness-raising activities of the communists and through the personal experiences of the masses. He then talks about the communists in every location, as they struggle with obstacles in the way of uniting the victims of the capitalist system and building alliances in addition to the fronts and joint action, according to the conditions in each location and country. After which, he gives examples of some of these fronts such as the front against fascism and the war of 1935, and the alliance that the Soviet Union entered in 1941 against the Nazi-fascist axis and others on the global level, then he mentioned other fronts on the national scale in Israel, including the Popular Front of Arab Citizens against military rule and land confiscation, the Committee for the Defense of Lands that was established at the initiative of the Communists in Late 1975, the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality initiated by the Communist Party in 1977, the Committee of Arab Local Authorities Heads in 1974, a red line for Jews and Arabs against the occupation in 1988, and other fronts on a local scale, such as the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality in May 1978, as the goal of all these experiences are joint work, then he mentions the reasons for the decline in the scope of progress with the party's forces and local influence and the strength of the front as a purposeful joint action.
