A Paper Clipping about the Meeting of the Arab League Council in Cairo
Written by Nimr Murqus, this document shows a paper clipping regarding the meeting of the Arab League Council held in Cairo on 8 December 1947, in which the establishment of a “government” administration for the Arabs of Palestine was rejected, while some secret decisions were issued, such as preventing the implementation of the partition project and the establishment of the Jewish state, providing ten thousand rifles to the Arab Military Committee, and recruiting three thousand volunteers on standby in mid-January 1948.
