Issue 7 of al-Jadeed Magazine, July 1976
Issued by the Cooperative al-Ittihad Press in Haifa, issue no. 7 in July 1976 of the al-Jadeed magazine, which is a monthly magazine of intellect and modern national culture established in 1951, its first editor was Hanna Naqqara and its editor-in-chief was Antoine Shalhat. This issue included: 1. The opination of the al-Jadeed magazine for the editor-in-chief. 2. An article titled “Zionism and Self-determination” by Emil Touma. 3. An article titled “A Poem Against a Tank” by Mohammad Hamzeh Ghanayem. 4. From the poetry of the world, Vietnam and India. 5. An article titled “The Palestinian Suffering from His Palestinianism” by Ghassan Kanafani. 6. An article titled “Two Looks into One Era” by Zuheir al-Jazaer. 7. An article titled “Tal al-Zaatar” by Mohammad Hamzeh Ghanayem. 8. An article about the Iraqi Kurdish poet, Koran, by Rafiq Sabir. 9. A story titled “Oh, Tomorrow” by Nabih Qasem. 10. The story “Shoe Shiner” by Mesleh Kanaaneh. 11. An article titled “José Martí, the Poet and Revolutionist” by Afif Salah Salem. 12. The story “The Child and the Rifle” by Yousef Salman Sweid. 13. A thought titled “My Different Voices in Middle Eastern Honour” by Edmon Shehadeh. 14. A poem titled “Maqama Men Ketab az-Zayt” (A Tone from the Book of Oil) by Yahia Khalaf. 15. A poem titled “Kol Athar Wa Antom Bekhair” (Happy March) by Ali as-Sah. 16. A report titled “Soviet Writers in Their Sixth Convention”. 17. The club of al-Jadeed.
