Issue 11 of al-Jadeed Magazine, November 1986
The eleventh issue of the al-Jadeed Magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, was founded in 1951 and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in November 1986 under the supervision of its first editor, Hanna Nakkara, and its editor-in-chief, Salim Jabran. The issue included the following: 1. The talk of the month is titled “The Natural Place for All Patriots” by Salim Jabran. 2. A study titled "Babak and the Babik Movement" by Zahi Karkbi. 3. A study titled "Majid abu Sharar in His Narrative Creativity" by Raoufa Masawra. 4. A study titled "The Arab Working Class in Palestine" by Maher Sharif. 5. A study titled "Noah Ibrahim, a Student of al-Qassam...the Poet of the Revolution" by Salim Jabran. 6. Poetry by Saud al-Asadi, titled "Ash-Shero Thawra” (Poetry is a Revolution). 7. Poetry by Nazih Khair titled "Marathi Nagham al-Canaaneyya” (The Lamentations of the Canaanite Song). 8. Poetry by Hatem Joia, titled "Aneq Jerahi Wat-Tahed” (Embrace My Wounds and Unite.) 9. A story by Adnan Abbas titled "These are My Brothers." 10. A story by Marzouq Halabi, titled "The Children". 11. A critical article for the book "Harun Hashem Hassan al-Buhairi, the Bulbul of Haifa" by Samir Haj. 12. A critical article for Hussein Muhanna's new poetry collection "I Die Holding a Stone" by Mofeed Sidawi. 13. An article about Hanna Mina's book "How I Carried the Pen" by Elias Shaker. 14. Cultural news by the magazine's editorial board.
