Issue 9 of al-Jadeed Magazine, September 1986
The ninth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, was founded in 1951 and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in September 1986 under the supervision of its first editor, Hanna Naqqara, and its editor-in-chief, Salim Jabran. The issue included the following: 1. The introduction is titled "Bread, Words and Weapon" by Salim Jabran. 2. A study titled "Stylistic Elements in Maroun Abboud 's Stories" by Habib Boulos. 3. A study titled "The Romantic Movement between Self and Reality" by Samira ad-Deek. 4. A general culture for all, titled "Psychological Tests" by Marwan Doueiri. 5. Study, poems and translations of Musa Jalil by Hanna Ibrahim. 6. An article titled "Nobody Kills the Poet, 50 Years of Lorca's Shaheeddom" by Salim Jabran. 7. A critical study in the research of Dr Jaber Asfour by Abderrazeq Abdo. 8. A story titled "The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World" by Gabriel García Márquez. 9. The story "Anxiety" by Suhail Kiwan. 10. The story "Affiliation" by Walid Ayoub. 11. Poems by Osama Halabi, Ahmad al-Hajj, Mustafa Murad, and Atallah Jabr. 12. Various cultural news.
