Issue 6 of al-Jadeed Magazine, June 1986
The sixth issue of the al-Jadeed Magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture founded in 1951 and printed at the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, was issued in June 1986 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqara and its editor-in-chief Salim Jabran. The issue included the following: 1. The introduction is titled “Here we Suffered the June Defeat” by Salim Jabran. 2. Poetry titled “Men Doha Ash-Sheer al-Arabi” (From Doha of Arabic Poetry) by Elia abu Madi. 3. A study titled "The Revolution of the 36, the Betrayed Revolution " by Emile Habibi. 4. A study titled "How Parents Deal with Adolescent Children" by Samih Rizq. 5. A study titled "Maroun Abboud" by Youmna al-Eid. 6. An article titled "From the History of the Revolutionary Movement in Iraq" by Mousa Houry. 7. Poetry titled "Le-Ajlekom Ghannayt” (For You, I Sang) by Shkaib Jahshan. 8. Poetry titled "Qatrat Hob, Qatrat Wed” (A Drop of Love, a Drop of Affection) by Issa Loubani. 9. A critical article for the play "The Blind and the Deaf" titled "Ghassan Kanafani on the Nazareth Theater" by Salim Jabran. 10. A critical article on the novel by Anton Shammas, by Muhammad Hamzeh Ghanyem. 11. A critical article titled "Tamar Go Jansky's Book on the Economy of Palestine" by Ahmad Saad. 12. A critical article titled “Professor Sevan’s book (Fanatics in Islam) by Ad abu Ahmad. 13. The story "The Ghosts" by Adnan Abbas. 14. The story "The Rock" by Abu Suleiman. 15. Presentation of new publications prepared by the magazine's editorial board. 16. Cultural miscellaneous prepared by the magazine's editorial board.
