Issue 10 of al-Jadeed Magazine, October 1981
The tenth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, was founded in 1951 and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in October 1981 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and its editor-in-chief Antoine Shalahth. The issue included the following: 1. Al-Jadeed opinion is titled “The Memory of Pain and Anger, and the Reality of Fight”. 2. An article titled “Palestine in the Ottoman Era” by Emile Touma. 3. An article titled “Arabs in a Sample of Zionist Children Literature” by Antoine Shalhat. 4. Two stories by Majeb abu Sharar. 5. An article about the memorial of poet Abdel-Karim al-Karmi, a poem by Fadwa Touqan and another by Shkaib Jahshan. 6. The corner “By Air Mail” is special to publishing the latest events, activities and publications around the globe. 7. A poem titled “Collage” by Samih al-Qasem. 8. The fifteenth episode of the corner “We Didn’t Forget” by Salman Natour. 9. Palestinian clipping titled “Asma was Playing” by Mahmoud al-Bakr. 10. A report regarding the Kafr Yasif seminar.
