Issue 4 of al-Jadeed Magazine, April 1978
The fourth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, founded in 1951 and printed at the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in April 1978 under the supervision of its first editor, Hanna Naqqara, and a painting of calligrapher Camille Daou was printed on the cover. The issue included the following: 1. Al-Jadeed opinion titled “The Three Thirty and the Three Truths.” 2. An article titled "The Fundamental Changes in the Palestinian Cause" by Emile Touma. 3. A poem titled "Embargo Ala al-Mawt” (Embargo on Death) by Samih al-Qasim. 4. An article titled "The Zionist Attack and Arab Resilience Inside Israel" by Ibrahim Malik. 5. From Fadwa Touqan's memoirs, "A Difficult Journey - A Mountain Journey". 6. A story titled "The North Wind" by Muhammad Nafaa. 7. A story titled "Living Outside the Homeland" by Hanna Ibrahim. 8. A story titled "The Fall" by Jamal Bannoura. 9. A story titled "What Will They Do" by Ziad Hawari. 10. A poem titled "Qataraton Men Dam Ala Jabhati Layla” (Drops of Blood on Laila's Forehead) by Atallah Jabr. 11. The "Al-Jadeed Club" corner by Nazir Majli. 12. A poem titled "Maqate Men Onshodat al-Hozn” (Parts from the Song of Sorrow) by Ibrahim Ammar. 13. A poem entitled "Enni Attanaba” (I Prophesy) by Naim Araydi.
