Issue 9 and 10 of al-Jadeed Magazine, September and October 1977

The ninth and tenth issues of the al-Jadid magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, were issued in September and October 1977 under the supervision of its first editor, Hanna Naqqara, and were printed at the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following:1. Al-Jadeed opinion is titled “Sixty Years Brief Centuries” by Samih al-Qasim.2. An article titled "Socialism from Utopia to Science" by Afanasyev.3. An article titled "Sixty Years Since the Great October Socialist Revolution" by Emile Thomas.4. An article titled "Soviet Literature is a Unique Phenomenon in World Literature" by Afif Salah Salem.5. A story titled "The Red Riding Hood" by Muhammad Nafaa.6. An article titled "With Turgenev's Novel (Fathers and Sons)" by Sharara's life.7. The second episode of Fadwa Touqan's memoirs, "A Difficult Journey - a Mountain Journey."8. An article titled "From the Pessimist to the Cactus is One People" by Emile Habibi.9. An article titled "A Picture and a Book of Poetry from Our Society" by Suhail Atallah.10. An article titled "Abu Dhar al-Ghafari and the Hysteria of Hatred Against Communism" by Antoine Shalhat.11. A Polish story titled "Don't Cry, Salvig" by Stanislav and translated by Afif Salem.12. An article titled “Druze Heritage or Bidding” by Nimr Nimr.13. An interview with Hussain Marwa by Walid Nuwaihid.14. A poem titled "Al-Oghneya al-Ola Ela Basema” (The First Song to Basema) by Zein al-Abidine Fouad.15. A poem titled "Thekrayat Hozayraneyah An Ashya Katheera Fil-Watan” (June Memories of Many Things in the Homeland) by Nayef Selim.16. Essay on "Men in the Sun".
