Issue 12 of al-Jadeed Magazine, December 1974
The twelfth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, was issued in December 1974 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following: 1. Al-Jadeed opinion is titled "The Year of Palestine". 2. Chapters from the book "With My Eyes" by Felicia Langer. 3. The poem "The Invisible Man" by Pablo Neruda. 4. An article titled "An Encounter with a Spanish Orientalist" by Saliba Khamis. 5. A story titled "Tel Aviv 2024" by Buthaina an-Nasiri. 6. A poem titled "Ighmaa Fi Fasl Hadari” (Fainting in a Civilized Chapter) by Mukhtar Ali. 7. An article titled "With Aragon and Majnun Elsa" by Elias Shaker. 8. A poem titled "Qasaed Men Areterya” (Poems from Eritrea) by Muzaffar al-Nawab. 9. An article titled "Soviet Poet Lisa Ukrainka Waiting for Dawn" by Afif Salah Salem. 10. A play titled "A Journey Among the Griefs of Death" by Mu'in Muhammad Hatoon. 11. A poem titled "Ahzan Sagheerah” (Small Sorrows) by Nayef Selim. 12. A poem titled “Hewareyyah Ma al-Milad Fil Ghorbah” (A Dialogue with Birth in Exile) by Asaad al-Asaad. 13. The al-Jadeed Club Corner. 14. The al-Jadeed Annual Index for the year 1974.
