Issue 11 of al-Jadeed Magazine, November 1974
The eleventh issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, founded in 1951 and printed at the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in November 1974 under the supervision of its first editor, Hanna Naqqara, and a painting by Abd Abdi was printed on the cover. The issue included the following: 1. Al-Jadeed opinion titled "Conclusive Evidence". 2. Two poems by Samih al-Qasim. 3. An article titled "The October Revolution and the Arab East" by Yevgeny Lebedev. 4. A story titled "The Diaries and Thoughts of the Palestinian Who is No Longer Lost" by Nabil Odeh. 5. A poem titled "Heena Toghani al-Jerah” (When Wounds sing) by Abdel-Latif Akel. 6. A poem titled "No Poet Without the People" by Yevgeny Yevtushenko. 7. An article titled "Defense Systems - State of Emergency 1945" by Reda Azzam. 8. A poem titled "Taali” (Come) by Fahim abu Rukn. 9. An article titled "A Step Towards Lorca" by Saadi Yousef. 10. A poem titled "Ad-Dobarah as-Sereyyeh” The Secret Collection" by Alfred Samaan. 11. Japanese poems translated by Adnan Baghjati. 12. Zajal by Saud al-Asadi. 13. A story titled "Calm Returns to the Sea" by Khalil Bitar. 14. A poem titled "Haneen" by Nayef Selim. 15. A poem titled "That Laylah” (One Night) by Naim Araydi. 16. A poem titled "Mawt Fel-Layl” (Death in the Night) by Wahib Nadim Wahba. 17. An opinion article by Izz ad-Din Masarwa in Contemporary Arab Culture. 18. A short story titled "The Mouse" by Nabih al-Qasim. 19. Zajal titled "Zajliya" by Naji Thaher.
