Issue 3 of al-Jadeed Magazine, March 1957

The third issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, was issued in March 1957 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following: 1. The talk of the month titled "The Need for a Revolution in Education". 2. An article titled "The Historical Roots of the Arab Nationalist Battle" by Emile Touma. 3. An article titled "On What is Written About Egyptian Literature and Art" by Ibn Khaldun, "a pseudonym". 4. An article on the Poetry Festival in Nazareth. 5. A poem titled "Ohebok" (I Love You) by Issam  Abbasi. 6. A story titled "A Dream of Silk" by Samira Azzam. 7. An article titled "Sad Evenings and a Smiling Dawn" by Issa Loubani. 8. An article titled "Jerry, the Monkey's First Journey to the Moon". 9. An article titled "On the sidewalk (a look at the books)" by Muhammad As. 10. Cultural, literary and scientific news.
