Issue 11 of al-Jadeed Magazine, September 1954
The eleventh issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, was issued in September 1954 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following: 1. The talk of the month, titled “Visit, Watch, then Speak.” 2. An article titled "Collectivism in Action and Leadership" by Samuel Mikonos. 3. An article titled "Society Magazine" by Emile Habibi. 4. An article titled "Hebrew Literature and Zionist Ideology" by Samir Mared. 5. An article titled "Where Do We Pay For" by Tawfiq Ziad. 6. An article titled “Aristofan”, copied from al-Tariq magazine. 7. A poem titled “Ayna Antom Ya Refaqi" (Where Are You, My Comrades) by Haya Qadmon. 8. An "unpublished" story by Petr Pavlenko. 9. A story titled "I Was Relieved" by Muhammad abu Shalbana. 10. An American story titled "The Revenge of the Jungle". 11. An article titled "The Tel Aviv Message" by S. Sassoon. 12. Literary, scientific and cultural news.
