"The Teacher's Opinion", by Ahmad al-Hajj, the 1960s

Issued by Ahmad al-Hajj in the village of Kafr Yasif, Acre district, in the 1960s, on the authority of the al-Ittihad Cooperative Press, this one-time leaflet titled "The Teacher's Opinion" included a statement by the Democratic Teachers Bloc about the Department of Arab Teachers’ Affairs in the Teachers’ Syndicate, an article titled “The Hebrew language program does not suit the psychology of the Arab student,” another article titled “About the book (We Learn Arithmetic)”, news about the decision of the Central Occupation Court acquitted Muhammad Manna of the accusation of assaulting a student, news about the decision of the Teachers Syndicate Council to demand an increase in wages and an improvement in the working conditions of teachers, and separate news about education and its problems in the occupied territories in 1948.
