Basic Law of the Sect Council of the Orthodox Church, Haifa, 1957
Issued in 1957, this document is titled "The Basic Law of the Sect Council of the Arab Orthodox Community in Haifa and Its Representative Body", which was made to replace the Basic Law of the Orthodox sect for the year 1946, and the amendments include the previous and subsequent law. This law regulates the financial affairs of the sect in addition to regulating all the denomination’s institutes such as schools, temples, hospitals and other institutions, and this is done by a representative committee that is elected based on the internal regulations and bylaws of the Basic Law, the Parliament is elected by the Representative Committee, and the law clarifies the mechanisms for electing the Board and the Commission, and the duties, powers and rights of each.
