Association for the Defense of Arab Minority Rights in Israel

Issued in September 1954, this document is by the Executive Committee of the Association for the Defense of the Arab Minority in Israel in preparation for the first Jewish-Arab conference held in October of the same year, an association that works for the sake of equality of citizens with their fellow Jews, and to lift the yoke of persecution from the shoulders of the Arab minority in Israel. The document shows the number of violations and persecution, including raiding homes, confiscating papers and plundering lands that affect Arab minorities, in addition to the system of proof of presence, administrative prison, head tax, exile, deportation, movement permits, border security law, and displacement of families.
