Found in 1911 by Issa Dawood al-Issa, this issue of the Palestine Newspaper is dated 21 June 1949, which is a political, news and illustrated newspaper, edited by Dawood Bandali al-Issa the issue includes several subjects and headlines such as:  1- The Tripartite Conciliation Committee decided to appeal to the Arabs and the Jews to exert their utmost efforts to reach an understanding before dissolving the conference. 2- Jewish gunmen entered the border into the heart of the Arab region in the Jenin district, where they stole sheep and cows. 3- The permanent armistice negotiations between Syria and the Jews have advanced and it is expected that they will end with a positive result. 4- The Supreme Council of the Palestinian Arab Workers Association met and took several decisions related to the labour movement. 5- The Central Refugee Committee decided to transfer the refugees who came from Jericho and elsewhere in ad-Dheisheh and its vicinity to al-Aroub due to the abundance of water there. 6- The distribution of supplies to the city’s refugees began in the Haram ash-Sharif. Good quality food items were distributed at a rate of 3 times what the refugee used to take in the past, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan. 7- Armistice talks will be resumed between Syria and Israel under the supervision of the International Monitoring Board.
