Handwritten, this document shows a Friday Khutbah titled "Controlling Poverty in Islam" given by Imam Marouf Shtayyeh at a mosque in the village of Salem to the northeast of Nablus in the 1980s, which he began by praising Allah and mentioned the things that make Muslims have a respectable life away from poverty, how Islam controls poverty through imposing Zakat, then he pointed out how cooperation and unity among Muslims are important, as he supported his speech with several Quran verses and Hadiths.
