"Imitating the Opposite Gender", Friday Khutbah by Marouf Shtayyeh, the 1980s
Handwritten, this document shows a Friday Khutbah titled "Imitating the Opposite Gender" given by Imam Marouf Shtayyeh at a mosque in the village of Salem to the northeast of Nablus in the 1980s, in which he began by praising Allah and then spoke about the differences between females and males, pointing out that Allah distinguished each sex with certain characteristics that sets them apart. Accordingly, the Imam advised not to imitate the opposite gender, supporting his Khutbah with several Quran verses and Hadiths.
