"History of Jerusalem, Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque", a Book by Aref al-Aref, 1958
Titled "Histroy of Jerusalem, Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque", this documnt shows a book by Aref al-Aref in which he edited a previous edition of the book that had been published on 30 October 1955 titled “History of al-Haram esh-Sharif”. In this edition, he included an overview of the history of Jerusalem. The book consists of five chapters and presents the history of the city and the two mosques over the years up to 1958. Published by Fawzi Youssef, owner of the Andalus Library in Jerusalem, the book was printed by the Islamic Industrial Orphanage Press in Jerusalem, and one of its pages includs a dedication by the author to Sheikh Qassem al-Fahim on Friday 20 June 1958.
