Ottoman Tax Payment Notice, Kafr Ra'i, 1908
Dated 1326 AH, corresponding to 1908 AD, this Ottoman document shows a notification of payment of the “Werko” tax in the name of Mohammad Saeed Othman from the village of Kafr Ra’i, Jenin District, in lieu of property tax, as the notice included the signature of the collection officer, seal of the department and an Ottoman stamp.
