Taken in the 1970s, this photograph shows the jury of the first literary festival in Palestine. Jamil as-Sahlout appears from the right, followed by Ali al-Khalili and Khalil Touma, and alongside them are Mohammad Batrawi, Adel Samara, and Sobhi Shahrouri, in addition to As'ad al-As'ad standing behind the loudspeaker.
