A Compensation Pledge of a Land in Beit Jala, 20 September 1886
Handwritten, this document shows a compensation pledge to transfer ownership of an olive-planted plot of land in Beit Jala by Ibrahim Riziq to his wife Hilwa in return for an amount of money, stating that the pledger will pay 15 liras for Hilwa only if an inheritor objects to the ownership of the land, and they are Jeries Riziq, his brother's wife and their daughter Mariam.
