Animals Tax Collection Receipt Issued to Saliba Hana Sagheir, 1916
This document shows an animal tax collection receipt issued by "Wirko Properties" No. 437 to Saliba Hanna Sagheir who is a citizen of Beit Jala-District of Jerusalem, in return for the "animals" he owns including sheep and camels; and paid an amount of 5 golden ottoman pennies or 7 pennies and 2 Milliemes which is the equivalence in Egyptian currency in 1916 - 1334 A.H. The receipt enclosed the signature and the stamp of the collector in addition to the department's stamp.
