"The Voice of the Union", a Pamphlet by the General Federation of Trade Unions, the 1980s

Issued by the General Federation of Trade Unions in Nablus under the supervision of the Cultural Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank and Gaza, this one-time pamphlet is titled "The Voice of the Union" and it was issued to celebrate International Workers' Day and contained the following:  1. The speech of the Secretary-General of the Federation, Shehada al-Minawi, on the first of May. 2. The issue's speech titled "The Path to the Abyss" by Abdel-Ghani Nasser. 3. A study titled “The Structure of the Palestinian Arab Society and Its Reflections on the 36-39 Revolution” by the trade unionist Yousef Sweidan. 4. A meeting with the Secretary of the Shoe Workers Union in Jerusalem. 5. A summary of the most important achievements of the executive body of the General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank. 6. "The Worker's Song", a poem by Farouk Sidqi al-Lahham. 7. A list of the unions affiliated with the General Federation in the West Bank and several union representatives in the Federation Council. 8. A study titled "About the Palestinian Labour Movement Before 48" by Yousef Sweidan. 9. News about the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) harassment of union and union workers.
