Taken at al-Bireh Municipality Hall on 9 December 1996, this photograph shows Adel Tartir (aka Abu al-Ajab) performing a show from the "Hikayat abu al-Ajab Series", which is mostly the "Hetha at-Tanbouri (The Shoes of at-Tanbouri)" story, one of the first stories of the Wonder Box. At the time, several performances were presented to school students who attended periodically, while some of them came to the show on foot from their schools, and it was held without a specific occasion, but rather it was an effort by the al-Bireh Municipality Library.
