"Hikayat Abu al-Ajab- Stories from Kalila and Demna" Show, Ramallah, 1994
Taken on the al-Siraj stage during its opening in Ramallah in 1994, this photograph shows Adel-Tartir (aka Abu al-Ajab) performing a show from "Hikayat Abu al-Ajab" derived from the stories of Kalila and Demna, which were narrated by animals such as a lion, fox, donkey, rooster and others. It is worth mentioning that this show included, besides Tartir, Musa Nofal and Ziad ar-Roum, which was their first experience in acting, in addition, the box that shows was the first traditional the Wonder Box made by Tartir.
