The Performance of the "Hikayat Abu al-Ajab" Play, Biddu, 1994
Taken in 1994, this photograph shows Adel Tartir (aka Abu al-Ajab) performing in the "Hikayat Abu al-Ajab" Play in the Biddu Village in northwestern Jerusalem, where the majority of the audience were female students. This show was coordinated by the Saraj Theater in Ramallah, where it was performed more than 60 times in many villages and cities, including Jerusalem, Ramallah and Nablus.
