A Notebook of News Related to Abdel-Karim al-Alami

This notebook consists of several pages containing several newspaper clippings that were issued in Palestine, in addition to a variety of news about Abdel-Karim al-Alami’s activities in the city of Jerusalem, including supervising the distribution of supplies for Palestinian refugees in the late 1940s, until the beginning of the 1950s when he was the Director of the Palestinian Refugees Office, which was coordinating the provision of its services with the International Red Cross, after which, he became the Director of the Nutrition Department in the Office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). In addition to the above, the notebook contained news about al-Alami's candidacy for the Jordanian parliamentary elections and his electoral program in the 1950s, and news about his activities when he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and director of the PLO's office in Jerusalem.
