Taken in the 1950s, this photograph shows Sheikh Hafez Sanduqa walking in the al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard with the Dome of the Rock shown behind him. Notably, the Sanduqa Family has the responsibility of firing the cannon during Ramadan in the city of occupied Jerusalem.
