Preparing Food for Palestinian Refugees, September 1949
Taken by Ali Za'arur in 1949, this photograph shows workers at the Jerusalem Office of Refugees during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Office in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, it shows two women boiling milk and another woman holding a basket filled with bread. Meanwhile, a man is lighting the fire and another man is organizing the bread.
