The Medical Clinic for Refugees in Jerusalem, September 1949
This photograph shows Palestinian refugees and workers at the Jerusalem Office of Refugees during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Office in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) before the establishment of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Additionally, it shows refugees standing around the nurse registering them in the medical clinic.
