The Distribution of Flour to Palestinian Refugees, September 1949
Taken by Ali Za'arur in September 1949, this photograph shows Palestinian refugees receiving flour in the town of al-Eizariya during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Jerusalem Office of Refugees in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, it shows Abdel-Karim, the Head of the Jerusalem Office of Refugees, supervising the work of the office's staff during the process of distributing flour.
