Supervising the Distribution of Food to Palestinian Refugees, September 1949
Taken by Ali Za'arur in September 1949, this photograph shows Palestinian refugees including men, children and women receiving food such as milk and bread, provided during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Jerusalem Office of Refugees in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, it shows a Palestinian woman handing out milk. Meanwhile, Abdel-Karim and a foreign woman are also shown supervising the process of food distribution to the refugees.
