Distributing Food to Palestinian Refugee Children, September 1949
Taken by photographer Ali Za'arur in September 1949, this photograph shows Palestinian refugee children including boys and girls receiving milk provided during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Jerusalem Office of Refugees in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, a young man is shown pouring milk into a pot. Meanwhile, Abdel-Karim al-Alami is standing near him supervising the process of distributing food for the refugees.
