Distributing Milk to Palestinian Refugees, September 1949
Taken by photographer Ali Za'arur in September 1949, this photograph shows Palestinian refugees including women and children receiving milk provided during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Jerusalem Office of Refugees in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, it shows a woman pouring milk into a pot. Meanwhile, Abdel-Karim al-Alami is near her to supervise the process of providing food for the refugees.
