Palestinian Refugees Receiving Assistance in al-Eizariya, September 1949
Taken on 29 September 1949, this photograph shows Palestinian refugees including women and men in the town of al-Eizariya located East of Jerusalem receiving assistance provided during the implementation of the Refugee Assistance Project organised by the Jerusalem Office of Refugees in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Additionally, it shows Abdel-Karim al-Alami, the Head of the Office, supervising the process of distribution.
