Issued on 1 October 1931, this document shows issue no. 292 of the Official Palestine Newspaper featuring official government announcements including suspension of the sorting schedule in the village of al-Safiriyya, announcing the start of settling the lands in Lod, declaring some villages free from animal diseases, heavy mail parcels to Egypt, the sale of unusable goods, lists of the movement of immigrants to Palestine and those displaced from it, lists of name change, quarantine and communicable diseases, income and expenditure budgets, in addition to official government announcements regarding laws and legislation and amendments thereto. The issue was printed in Azriel Press in Jerusalem, where the price of the copy was fifty mils and was published twice a month. Said official government announcements and amendments include: Appointment of investigators for suspected deaths. Cancellation of the permit to acquire Palestinian citizenship. Orders under the property tax law in Jordan regarding the tax category to be collected in each of the regions of Acre, Haifa and Beit Jala for the year 1932-1933. An order under the Land Settlement Law authorizing Solomon Yehuda to perform the duties of the Gaza Settlement Commissioner. A system under the Road Transport Act of 1927. Declaration under the Animal Diseases Act regarding the declaration of some areas as endemic.
