A Scene from the "Ras Roos" Play, 1984
Taken during the activities of the "Birzeit Nights" festival at the old Birzeit University campus on 24 August 1984, this photograph shows a scene from the "Ras Roos (Head of Heads)" play, which is considered the first "monodrama" in the history of the Palestinian theatre movement, made by "The Wonder Box Theatre" and written, acted and directed by Adel Tartir in June 1980.
