Printed in Arabic, this document shows issue no.59 of the al-Sarih weekly political critique Magazine, published by its owner and editor Hashim al-Saba' on 24 June 1950 and sold for 15 mils, the issue features many article critiques dealing with the political events of that period, including: - An article criticizing the unified tripartite statement issued by the Arab League. - An article calling for the amendment of the Treaty of Rhodes on the 1948 armistice. - A critical article about the British control of Arab governments. - An article about the Palestinians' quest to annex Gaza to Egyptian rule, as is the case in the West Bank and Jordan, in which the Egyptian army is already deployed.
