Marriage Contract, Deir Dibwan, 27 September 1919
Dated 27 September 1919, this archival item shows two marriage contracts. The first is for Hasan Ali Sham'a from the village of Deir Dibwan and Khadeeja Sulieman Salamah, in which the dowry's down payment amounts to 45 Egyptian pounds and its deferred payment amounts to 5 Egyptian pounds. The second is for Abdel-Hamid Salem Salamah from the village of Deir Dibwan and Fatima Sulieman Salamah in which the dowry's down payment amounts to 45 Egyptian pounds and its deferred payment amounts to 5 Egyptian pounds, bearing multiple stamps and signatures.
