Marriage Contract of Ahmad and Mahboubah Abdel-Jawad, Deir Dibwan, 24 November 1898

Dated 24 November 1898, this archival item shows a marriage contract for Ahmad and Mahboubah Abdel-Jawad from the village of Deir Dibwan in Jerusalem, in which the dowry's down payment is 1000 piastres and its deferred payment is 5000 piastres, bearing multiple Ottoman stamps of the witnesses and a stamp of the Mukhtar of the village.
