The Diary of Fadeyyeh Darabe, Dura- Hebron, 1997
Written in 1997, this 283-page document shows the diaries of Fadeyyeh Darabe, where she described her and her family's lives and mentioned her social relations. Darabe made sure to write down all her financial accounts, her connection to the land, her medical follow-ups, familial disputes regarding inheritance, her children's school statuses and some of Dura's traditions during Eid al-Adha. On the political level, she mentioned the escalation of the Israeli aggression against Palestinians and its effect on education, surrendering the city of Hebron to the Palestinian Authority (PA), Yasser Arafat (Abu Ammar) visiting Hebron, the internal elections of Fatah and Palestinian protests against settlement in Jabal abu Ghneim.
