A Letter from the Islamic Commission to the Israeli Military Governor, Jerusalem, 1968
Issued in 1968, this document shows a letter that was addressed from the Islamic Commission in Jerusalem to the Israeli Military Governor, denouncing Israeli excavations around al-Haram ash-Sharif. A Copy of this letter was sent to the United Nations Secretary-General as well as to the representative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
