A Symposium in Yarmouk Camp in which Bassam Shakaa was a Speaker, 1985-1989
Taken in the second half of the 1980s, this photograph shows the attendees of an award ceremony honoring Bassam Shakaa and a symposium organized by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine- the General Command in Yarmouk Palestinian Refugee Camp in Syria. Among the people identified in this photograph are Rateb Shehab, secretary-general of the Palestinian Committee for National Dialogue in the Camp, first from the right in the first row; and next to him is Mohammed Abdel-Al, a member of the Palestinian Country Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party in the Camp.
