Enaya al-Fassed with Her Husband, Bassam Shakaa, following Amman Trip for Treatment, 1980
Taken in 1980, this photograph shows Enaya al-Fassed putting a flower wreath on the neck of her husband, Bassam Shakaa, mayor of Nablus, following his return from his trip to Amman for treatment, in the wake of the Israeli Occupation Authorities' attempt to assassinate him, leading to the amputation of his legs on 2 June of the same year.
