Bassam Shakaa and His Wife's Relatives Visiting Them in Syria, 1961
Taken in 1961, this photograph shows the relatives of Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, having lunch with them at their house in Damascus during their stay there as political refugees. Among the people appearing in the photograph are Shahira Shakaa, second from the right; Enaya and next to her is Bassam; in addition to her sister, Fatima, on the far left.
